The Economic Development team wanted to help out local businesses when the Circuit Breaker was announced. Within a matter of days, we turned around a social media campaign to draw attention to local businesses, who needed support. The concept was simple — give the businesses something that draws attention and is easy to execute.
Open for Business
We’ve pulled together and worked hard to “flatten the curve”. As a result, we are now in Phase 3 of B.C.’s Restart Plan. We’re seeing some businesses and organizations reopen their doors, and more people going out to visit those locations. But along with the optimism this brings, there’s still a sense of uncertainty.

Launching May 12, Campbell River Streaming Forward online resiliency program will guide entrepreneurs through a restart phase. Building blocks include: how to assess current state and opportunities, creating a clear action plan, and tangible tools and resources to implement the plan.
